When I heard that ExplOration Dot would be in Dec, I was elated! Not only was it winter, it was also during my birthday. (How happy was I)
I had to beg my parents for days before they allowed me to go. This was because I have attended almost all of the stops. I clearly remembered the day before Jakarta's concert, they announced [Dot]. I was so excited that I was jumping around with my friends and was already discussing on when to fly to Korea.
However, deep in my heart I knew my parents wasn't going to allow me to go so easily because I have already attended most of the stops and moreover, it wasn't cheap.
When I came back from Jakarta, I asked my dad if I could go to Korea. Obviously, the answer was "no" as I had expected it. However, I managed to convince him to allow me to go! I was about to cry infront of him when he finally agreed. (Never give up) :D
Since I was going on a holiday from 23-28 Dec which was already planned in early 2019, I could only fly to Korea on the midnight of 29th Dec and meet my friend, C at the hotel.
Having been to Korea multiple times, I took the limo bus to the hotel! (Due to privacy I shall cross out the hotel)
Would recommend taking a bus rather than KTX as some of the stations do not have lift/ escalator. You would not want to drag your luggage.. (in winter especially)
Thereafter the 29th concert, we went to collect our tickets for the next day!
Me and C, went for all 3 days of the concert. However, we were disappointed with the global package this time round as we had paid about 2k+ for 3 days deluxe package [highest tier].
However, the ticket for sitting was so bad that it was even worst than my economy ticket for ExplOration! (Last day was corner view). When me and C collected our tickets, other people (and of course, including us) were cussing as it was really THAT BAD.
We were even considering selling the ticket but soon, gave the idea up.
Luckily, I think they changed it back to the 4 tiers available. Namely, economy, superior, deluxe, premium.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed watching ExplOration Dot live.
It really is once in a lifetime experience and it is really worth the money to go for global package at least once in your fangirling life.
Thank goodness we were able to go for the concert, as Covid-19 soon hit worldwide and now we're stuck in our home country unable to attend concerts on-site. (Haha, saved for Baekhyun's solo concert but I guess I'm keeping the money for now.)
